Dr. Robert McGarry![]() |
Dr. Robert McGarry, Director of Telecommunications, has over 19 years experience in delivering major projects within the Telco sector. Robert joined Singularity in 2000 to drive the expansion of Singularity’s global sales team and develop our direct and partner channels world wide. In 2006 Robert was appointed Director of the newly created Telecommunications business unit. Prior to joining Singularity he spent over a decade with British Telecom (BT). Robert holds a PhD from Queen’s University, Belfast. |
Dermot McCauley![]() |
Dermot McCauley, Director of Capital Markets, joined Singularity in early 2003 and leads all Singularity’s activities in this industry sector. Previously he held President and General Manager roles in publicly quoted high-growth technology companies serving the Financial Services industry, including Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP) and Raremedium Group. An executive in his own successful start-up that was purchased by CTP in 1995, Dermot has previously worked in the financial information services industry for JPMorgan Chase and Dun & Bradstreet. Dermot holds a degree from Imperial College, London. |
Paul O’Neill![]() |
Paul, Delivery Manager Government, joined Singularity in 1997, having previously worked at Northland Systems. Paul has developed particular expertise in delivering case management solutions to a number of UK central government departments. His background includes extensive experience in programme and project management, business process analysis and overseeing large scale implementation project. |
Olivia Bushe![]() |
Olivia Bushe, Head of Marketing, joined Singularity in early 2008 and leads Singularity’s marketing team. Olivia has over 10 years experience in technology marketing roles based in the US and UK with worldwide remit. Prior to joining Singularity Olivia was Marketing Communications Manager at Meridio, the records management specialist, now part of Autonomy. Olivia holds a degree in Information Management from Queen’s University Belfast and completed the Explorers Postgraduate course in Export Marketing. |
Manus Savage![]() |
Manus is the Strategic Partner Manager at Singularity and has been involved in the software industry for over 20 years. As a graduate he joined British Telecom, and was responsible for a number of software development and design roles. He later moved to SMS start up Aldiscon which following acquisition became APiON, (which was mostly taken over by Phone.com), leaving a portion to become Aepona. In all these companies he held a Business Development role, being responsible for new sales and account management of existing consultancy clients. Since joining Singularity in 2005 Manus has focused on building out partnerships, especially with some of the largest names in the computer industry. Manus holds a Masters degree from Queens University, Belfast. |
Philip Mills![]() |
Philip works in a Sales and Account Management role in the Banking and Capital Markets team at Singularity. After graduation, he joined local startup Aldiscon, and worked there for a 10-year period progressing through Software Development, Project Management, Business Development and Account Management roles, ultimately being responsible for the 100-strong Professional Services Division, and having responsibility for blue-chip customers like Orange, France Telecom and Nortel Networks. Since joining Singularity in late 2005, Philip has worked in both partner and direct sales. In his spare time, Philip is an enthusiastic sportsman, turning out each week for CIYMS Cricket Club, where he is also Club President. In the winter season, Philip is 1st Team Manager at Ards Ladies hockey Club. Philip holds Masters Degrees from Queens University, Belfast, and Universidad de las Palmas de Gran Canaria. |
Gillian Bacon![]() |
Gill Bacon works as a Sales Executive, Client Relationship Manager and Partner Relations Manager at Singularity in the Banking and Capital Markets sector. Gill joined Singularity in 2008 having previously spent 6 years working for Mercator Software as their European Training Manager for the STP product suite currently offered by Singularity. Gill spent the majority of her working career within HSBC looking after corporate accounts, and again as Training Manager for branches of HSBC world-wide. Gill’s career providing and managing training courses has taken her from Singapore to New York to Johannesburg, and for Singularity she manages client accounts on a global basis. |
